Yes you can get pregnant any time. On your period off your period when your ovulating when your not ovulating.
Go to the doctor and have them do the test.

Without ovulation you cannot get pregnant, but if you indeed ovulated on the 26th, there is a possibility that you could be pregnant from intercourse on the 22nd as sperm can live as long as five days. If you have gotten your period, even if it was late, then you're probably not pregnant. You're not that late yet, so I wouldn't worry too much. However, pregnancy tests can often give false negatives, if you still haven't gotten your period you may want to test again. If it still says negative I would wait another week and then if still not, go see a Dr. to see what is delaying your period. Good luck.

Sperm can live a couple of days inside you and still impregnate an egg that was released after you had sex.

How can you be sure that you ovulated exactly on the 26th? You can't be certain unless you are taking some very sophisticated hormonal tests. Your egg can be released at random times in your cycle, even though the most common time is two or more weeks after the begining of your last period.

Yes you can certainly have gotten pregnant on the 22nd. The test should be accurate by now and you're probably not pregnant. But to be sure you could take another test in a few days or get a more sensitive test at your doctor's.

Yes you can. If there's sperm present when you ovulate (they live a few days), then there can be conception. Also from the other side, if the ovulation is over and the egg takes a few days to make it's way to the tube, if sperm shows up then it can lead to pregnancy too. So you're impregnable 2-3 days before and 2-3 days after ovulation. That said you can actually have an off ovulation day and get pregnant anytime during the cycle, even during your period!

You have to be olvulation to get pregnant. Sperm lives a couple days. Also you ovalate 7-10 after the last day of your period. If you had a period the 19th you would be olvulating on that day.( the 26th)

Well, I had went off the pill (long time ago) in March - no period afterwards. I took a pregnancy test the end of August (cause I still didn't have a period and at that time was having uprotected sex - yes, dumb - and about to move across the country) and it said negative. I went to my family Dr. and told him my concern, he said don't worry about it. Moved back home at Christmas and found out I was 5 1/2 months pregnant - no morning sickness, still wearing my jeans...got a beautiful 9 year old son now!! ;)

You MUST ovulate in order to conceive. You can conceive from intercourse before or after ovulation, however. In the presence of FERTILE cervical fluid, sperm can survive in the woman's body up to 5 days. In the absence of fertile CF, sperm die w/in 30min-4hrs! If you have intercourse in the presence of fertile CF and you ovulate w/in 5 days, you may conceive. The egg lives 12-24 hours after ovulation. 10% of the time, women release a second egg w/in 24hrs of the first. The second egg would live 12-24hrs too, giving you a potential fertility of up to 48hrs after ovulation. YOur best chance to conceive, however, is BEFORE ovulation when you are having fertile CF, as fertile CF dries up rather quickly after ovulation.

How are you tracking ovulation? Are you using OPKs or Day Counting. Either of those methods MAY give you an idea of when ovulation is probably, but NEITHER can confirm ovulation. In other words, even if you have a cycle of particular length or a positive OPK, that is NO guarantee you ovulated then. Unless you are confirming ovulation w/ a cervical fluid dry up pattern (or more accurately) a thermal shift, you really CANNOT confirm ovulation (aside from an u/s, of course).

If you did not ovulate when you thought you did, then your period might not be late at all. That's not to say you couldn't be pregnant. You might be, but it could be too early to get an accurate result. A baby implants in the uterine wall 6-10 days after conception. It is the baby that produces HCG, after it implants and it takes a little while for the hormone to build to detectable levels in your urine. So, a late ovulation is a common cause of delayed periods and/or false negatives on HPTs.

You cannot get pregnant if you aren't ovulating. Ovulating is when an egg is released. There has to be sperm in your tubes to fertilize the egg. If you are not ovulating, there is no release of egg and therefore conception cannot take place. You cannot get pregnant at any time, a women only has a few days of fertile time per month.

Im sorry hun but these people are wrong. You cant get pregnant if you are not ovulating!!!
By definition, there must be an egg in order to have a true pregnancy. Ovulation is the release of the egg from the ovary.

Sperm stays alive in your body for 3-5 days. There is a slim chance that you still can get pregnant with having sex on the 22nd.
