Ha! "Dumb Husband" is funny. I love it!

Actually, it means "Dear Husband" or "Darling Husband."
DS = Dear/Darling Son
DD = Dear/Darling Daughter

I thought it was Dear Husband or Darling Husband. I started seeing it about a year ago on all kinds of blogs.

I figured out it was meaning a husband as well, but couldn't figure out what the D was for. The only thing I came up with was POOR grammer and speaking..

DH - da husband

Dear or Darling is MUCH nicer, thanks for posting the question, I was confused too!

I was going to say designated hitter too, which has a whole other meaning in this context(think sexual, not violent, e.g. "I'd hit that,")
