looking for a record/8-track player for my husbands birthday! I was wondering which brand was better? I was on here before and everyone said the Electrophonics are pretty cheaply made so I was wondering is the Olympic better? I found the Electrophonic at DI and the Olympic one is at a lil antique shop. THANKS A BUNCH!! any additional info on record/8-track players would be great also because I really don't know alot! thankyou thankyou!!

OMG i had an old Electrophone. As I remember it work fine. But if the 8-track tape is getting loose from use it got easily wound it the works. Hope someone has Olympic advice for you. If you're wanting to play records check to make sure the needle is okay, or that you can get replacements.
