It depends on how he said it and how it made you feel.
You obviously didn't like it, but this doesn't make it racism. Sometimes we term things racist too quickly, without questioning the motive for saying these things.
It sounds like he was trying to make a joke and possibly the guy who answered your question first is partially right. He might have been trying to gauge if you like him, but it seems to have back-fired on him.
In the end, if you are really hurt by this, say something to him. He can explain his motives better than any of us.

it's not really very funny, but if he is your friend then maybe he meant for it to be.you should tell him you didn't like him saying that... now I'm white and I'll just tell you if i hide in the snow naked I'll be easy to find because I'll be the naked girl running to the house trying to find some clothes.lol. sorry about him saying that to you.... people try to be funny in very bad ways.

I think that he was just trying to be funny and you took it the wring way~! Dont get upsat over the small things~! If he was Indonesian then I dont see why he would try to be racist~!

Depends on how you feel it came out...was this person trying to be funny or just being mean? You have to decide that based on this person and how they act...if they were just trying to be funny....make it clear that you did not find it funny and that you were offended
