The egg came first. Because the egg is diverse from the original egg after a Genetically change in the ancestors of chicken.

It was probably some sort of reptile type creature that was evolving into a chicken. Therefore I think near its final stages of evolution that it must of been an egg, the offspring of some near chicken type animal that evolved some. Now there would be one chicken and bunch of these other animals, and it'd take a little while longer for more of these chicken type creatures to come from the eggs of something close to a chicken.... but as more come and they bread with each other...

The cheddar sandwich actually came first, this information is unknown by most individuals. Then chicken was added to make it more palatable. The egg then came from the chicken.

I say the chicken, cuz if it was the egg it would get eaten before it could hatch.
God put animals on this planet so I don't think he up and put an egg on he ground first. It makes no sense for it to be the egg, so i'm right. Right?
