Hi rahul,
This is a strange question, rahul. I am an Hr Executive myself and I feel this question to be different. I had not heard off anything like this.

The tone of the question is very important. Same words differ in meaning when sounded differently.

I think the HR is asking something related to your financial abilities to save, spend money wisely. May be this had to do something with the job profile of your position in that company.

You will have to see those last two word "till now" which means it is repeating and you have been doing it for some time.

Well, I have given you my idea.

If you are so desperate to know what it is, the best thing that I would suggest you to do is - call up the company, talk with that HR, tell him that you need his help, explain him about the question and ask him - "what it really meant?".

I have not heard of this kind off question too. I would guess this might have been posed to freshmen. I like it actually.

But what is your question to the question :)
