Tom Eagleton, who was McGovern's running mate until he was taken off the ticket because he suffered from clinical depression. In the bad old days someone with mental health problems wasn't considered winable. Makes you wonder doesn't it. I'd rather have a politician be up front that he/she has had therapy or counselling and knows when to ask and go for help than someone who thinks he /she knows it all and needs no help or guidance from anyone except his/her political advisors.
