You have to have it checked out and set correctly or else you will have problems with it for the rest of your life. Go to the hospital...by law, they must treat everyone who comes in. If you do not have money, it does not matter...they have to treat you anyways. While you are there, you can ask about Medicaid which is medical insurance offered by your state. They will probably even offer you an application because they want you to have some sort of insurance coverage so they can get some money back for your treatment.
Anyways, go in and they will see and treat you. Ask for the Medicaid application if they don't offer it to you first. You want to do that so that you do not get stuck with a big bill.

Coming from an Athlete i would treat it just like I would a "jammed" Finger. Go to the pharmacy and get medical tape and maybe even a tiny splint. If no splint I would tape that finger to the finger next to it. Make sure you will not be able to bend it and wrap the tape around both fingers. You can even ask the Pharmacist to help.

i agree with Melis M, if you dont go to the hospital then you risk the chance of your knuckle not healing properly which could lead to infection, and a lot more pain, if you dont have money, try finding a free clinic

you need to go to the hospital (a public hospital) They will treat you and bill you later, you can even set up payment arrangements if you explain your situation.

You can buy a finger splint at the drug store and put that around your finger although I advise seeing a doctor for an x-ray to be sure it is not worse then you thought.
