The girl is 19 going on 20. She has a good job but loves to spend it as soon as she gets it. She also has friends who has told her she could stay with them.

the reason why she came to live there in the first place was because she had nowhere to go, just telling her over the weekend to find a place is not enough time for her to find anything, does she have a job, any money saved up, or any friends that you know can help her out? this is really not your place to throw her out, you need to get some input about this from your boyfriend about this, it seems heartless that you would throw her things out on the front lawn just to get her out, if you really want her out then make sure she has the necessary resources to make it on her own once she is out of the house.....

I think that you should give her a newspaper that might have jobs and houses in it. Be helpful but assertive so that she knows that you are in charge. I am sure that no matter how bratty she may get that she is grateful for your hospitality. There are plenty of apartments out there and you could even help her pay the rent for the first month or two. If she keeps mooching off of you then you should help her find a better job. If after that she is still helpless then you might as well turn your back. Good luck!

I would have already packed her things. The girl most likely has done something to not have somewhere to live. How old is she? Does she have more freedom at your house? Maybe that's why she is there. The daughter apparently didn't want to bring her along where ever she went. Sit her out. A woman sometimes has to learn responsibility the hard way. Tough love. She's not your responsibility.

If you asked her and she still didn't remove herself, I guess I would spell that out. I need my space back and I'm giving you until X date to find another place to live. If you are not out by that date, I am placing all your things at the curb.

I don't think you should just toss her stuff out. Keep talking to her and make yourself heard and take steps such as giving her boxes to pack her things if she dosent you pack her things but leave it in the room. Then speak with her again. If she still dosen't get it move her boxed stuff to your daughters apt. and tell your daughtr that she needs to deal with it because it was her friend and idea to let her move in. eventually she will get it. or if worse comes to worse take her key and dont let her in anymore.

Pack her things and have them setting by the front door, when she arrives help her load her car,if she doesn't have a car load it you'r car and drop her off somewhere of her choosing,if she doesn't have a place to go find the closes shelter, they take in strays everyday.

I would probably want her out too, because, well...she's not family and it would make things a little uncomfortable, but at the same time I couldnt kick her out knowing she has nowhere else to go.
