should i stay in DC, go to NYC or LA, or move to italy (only for 1 year)?

Go to Italy! its an entirely different experience and how many people get to say "i used to live in Italy"??
LA- is great but overrated- you'll be bored in a month
NYC- fascinating place all kinds of things to do and see, but its a lot like LA only faster and closer together.
DC- well, its DC- how dull.
Italy- e bellisima! you get to learn a new language, experience a new culture, smell the 1000s of years of history...GO!!

Italy is a once in a life time opportunity. Take it. NY and LA will still be there when you get back.

Go to LA. You'll have fun and it is a beautiful place with lots of things to do! But of course Italy would be great too!

Move to italy for a year. Nothing will come close to that, and it will make you a better person. Of course you will have a blast too!

NY and LA have nothing to offer that compensates for the crap you put up w/ by living in one of those places. DC is not bad, but doesn't hold a candle to Italy.
Italy is by far your best choice here. So much to see and do, and you'll have easy access to visit the rest of Europe, should you get bored in Italy.
