Gatorade has more salt than Powerade which helps your body replace the salt it loses in sweat. also Gatorade is only 6% sugar where as Powerade is 8%. Also both drinks use different kinds of sugars.

People tend to enjoy gatorade more, so it probably has more sugar. But, Gatorade is supposedly only supposed to be used for sports, etc..but Powerade can be used just to be given a boost.

Gatorade is made Quaker Oats company[1] which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pepsi.
Powerade is made by Coca-Cola Company.[2]
So the difference is the same as between Pepsi and Coke.

Powerade tastes yucky, while Gatorade tastes yummy.
