Perhaps your arm is hurting through typing in silly questions on your computer rather than throwing sticks for your dog

Sounds like the muscles in your arm hurts. Try to rest it a bit before you play with Fido again. If it keeps persisting, you might have something else going on. Go to a doctor then.

well, im not really a good doctor, but u can use your other arm, and if that one hurts too, go to the doctor and make sure your arms aren't sprained or something. and hurry before it gets worse.
