The last time I had a hot dog was from Brigham's and it was yummy. I had eaten hot dogs from there before but for some reason, this time it tasted better than usual. I asked the waitress if they were buying a new brand and she said no. I like my hot dogs with melted cheese.

In the Buffalo, NY area, check out Ted's Hot Dogs--charcoal grilled, absolutely yummy. (Fab onion rings, too!) They use a local brand, Sahlen's, which are also available in grocery stores. The best!!!!

my favorite hot dogs are Nathan's long's and Hebrew Nationals, although the Boar's Head ones are also pretty good. Unfortunately, you pretty much have to make those yourself.

We have two locals brands in CT that are good...Martin Rosol's and Grote & Weigel. Both are at most grocery stores and have natural casings with the nice snap when you bite them. Soooo good.
