I think it is great she is adpoting another child but... why not look within our own country? There are plenty of American made here to adopt that need a loving home. Does anyone agree with me or am I the only one that feels this way?

Why does Brangelina adopt overseas, why does Oprah give so much money to Africa, etc. They're celebrities and can do that. I agree with you 100% and would love to see the children in this country taken care of before those of another country. Even Rosie adopted kids from America. I never thought I'd agree with one of her ideas!

Why does the child's country matter? Aren't we all humans and all have needs and desires? Aren't we all worthy of love? A child in desperate need is adopted and cared for and loved, why is this an issue?

I think that the very fact that people say, "why not us?" is the very reason that other countries suffer in the first place. I can't imagine why people would say, why would a foreign person get the help before MY people?

We should be glad that another person, despite their race or country of origin is being adopted and cared for, instead of neglected. Why is it that we attempt to learn about eliminating racism and prejudice in the US toward Americans, but we are hypocrites when it comes to how we view other countries.

We should stop being so selfish and thinking about ourselves, and be glad that someone in the world is being helped, whether they are American or not.

ok the way I see it, the mistress should be blamed. If Brad Pitt had left Jennifer Aniston and basically right away moved on to Angelina Jolie, then i'd not blame her. yet because there replaced into overlapping, I do. there replaced right into a photograph of them cuddling on set in the course of Mr. and Mrs. Smith at the same time as Brad replaced into nevertheless with Jennifer. i locate that unacceptable. you do not cuddle with a married guy. She admitted in an interview very last year that they fell in love on the Mr. and Mrs. Smith set. She suggested they all started understanding they loved going to artwork to work out one yet another standard. This sparked Jennifer Aniston's retort about Angelina Jolie no longer being cool. Angelina Jolie replaced into very unclassy to elevate this information particularly understanding that Brad and Jennifer were nevertheless at the same time in the course of the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Even earlier she admitted to loving Brad earlier he and Jennifer were aside, I nevertheless idea she replaced into accountable. Given her song list, I recommend. Laura Dern suggested that in the destiny she had come homestead to her homestead and positioned a note from her boyfriend, Billy Bob Thornton, notifying her that he ran off to bypass get married to his costar, Angelina Jolie. Angelina Jolie has finished the homewrecking issue once. She for sure wouldn't have respect for marriages which does no longer wonder me because of her list of failed marriages.

Pitt and Jolie have to go all the way to Viet Nam to find a child to adopt???

I love all the American celebrities running around the world bemoaning all the horrible conditions and poverty.

They are amazed and shocked that America allows such things to exist, yet they say nothing about the fact that 47 million Americans live below the poverty level or that at least 9 million American children have no health insurance,or that at any one time that there are 1 million foster children in th United States.

Pathetic.

Why should it matter where the child comes from? It's not a political decision. Josephine Baker did the same thing, adopting children from around the world.

I agree with you too. I have always said that we need to sort out the problems in our own countries before going elsewhere. I feel very sorry for people in Africa and other countries where poverty is a major concern, but there are people living on the streets in our own home countries too and I think that they should receive the same amount if not more help! Unemployment and homelessness are concerns here too and they should be dealt with.

Hey, she just liked the kids and picked them up! I really think that it's their problem. I agree with you that there are many kids to adopt in America, but, Angelina's got this 'internationl adoption mania' and is a UNO member. Now really, it's her life and her will. Give the girl a break!

You Americans are so weird. Why on earth would you care where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie adopt a baby from. They've decided to adopt babies from all over the world...so what if they aren't American. They're giving a fighting chance to babies and toddlers who would otherwise rot in an orphanage until they're 18 and then kicked out on the street.
They're making a difference, who cares what country they're doing it in.

I don't like Angelina Jolie but yes, I think she's doing wrong by trying to follow in Madonna's footsteps and not adopt inside the US.
