Maybe, it is because you are not married and you aren't in love with this person. You are having sex because you think you have to. My advice, stop having sex and save it for the one you love.
Sometimes, there is a physical issue involved. It might also be a good time to see a doctor to find out if there is something physically that needs to be taken care of.

A doctor may be able to answer your question more than anyone here actually, so I sugest you visit one. For the mean time I believe it is due to lack of foreplay and lubrication. Always consider foreplay in prior to engaging into the intercourse. No tough sport team can play a match without warming up first, right? It is the same. A lot of for play, lube, and gentleness. Every thing will be fine then.

This could be a medical problem such as vaginasmus.
Please go and see a doctor, it could be a lack of lubrication but I would have thought that in three years you would have thought of that.
Ask a professional. Its not uncommon and shouldnt be embarrasing to talk about either.
Hope this helps

It shouldn't hurt after 3 years. Perhaps you are not getting properly aroused and lubricated. If you don't produce enough lubrication try using a product like KY jelly or other water based lubricant.

Maybe you have a natural lack of lubrication in your vagina - some women just have that, no matter how aroused.
Try some lubrication-creme, it might help the problem.
