No! Does life insurance pay out when the "hostage" gets killed by the supposed capture? Please! Everyone would claim life insurance benefits on a suicide death and use the old schizo argument if such were the case. If the suicide attempt fails, due we prosecute the person for attempting to kill the other personality?

Most schizo's are not suicidal but if they are they are sometimes being held hostage by the voices in their own head.
What about identical twin schizo's?

jaja!, good one, but if you haven't noticed, a person who suffers from schizophrenia would never be able to kill himself-herself, because in their minds they interact, but they never actually get to the point of taking a major action like that :)
so its practically impossible for a schizophrenic to "suicide himself" jeje, but good joke!!..its a classic ;)
