I used to have a Mirena IUD. It is totally normal to not get your period----one of the perks to an IUD. You may have months where you get a period, usually just light. I used to be a delivery room nurse, and do know that you can get pregnant while having an IUD. There have been baby's born holding the IUD. Just be in touch with your body. If you don't have any symptoms of preganancy, you're probably OK.

I have an iud for 6 years and have not a period since i got it put in. I occasionally spot but thats it...I love it...but you should always check your strings to make sure its there. If your really worried then you should just a take a test. At first you get worried but within time and checking your strings you will be good.

I had the Mirena IUD and the same thing happened to me. I did not have any periods at all until it was removed. I would have to say it is completely normal.
