Go on you!!
Well done. You can exercise up until you feel you can't anymore. It won't do the baby any harm at all. In fact that motion soothes them so they sleep, so i wouldn't worry.
The only problem will be if your not used to running then start all of a sudden, as with the added strain of pregnancy the body can't take all the stress. But it sounds like your doing great.
I used to run a reception in a local fitness club and some of our exercise instructors fell pregnant and they all carried on until about 8 months and then only stopped coz they were too knackered! lol
Good luck with the run and the flump :-)

If you are used to running then you can continue running for as long as you feel comfortable. Just be careful because increased levels of relaxin in your body make you more prone to injury.
Always stop if you feel faint, lightheaded etc.
There is no reason why you can't walk 5km when you are 6 months pregnant. I regularly walk that far and I am 8 months pregnant!
Paula Radcliff was still doing 10km races in pretty impressive times when she was 6 months pregnant. Obviously I am not suggesting you are Paula Radcliff, but she wouldn't have done so if it wasn't safe and she has the advice of top professionals!

From what I know, a lot of it depends upon what your activity level was right before you got pregnant and early in your pregnancy. If this is something your body is used to, it's OK. If this'll be the first time you've attempted to walk a long distance in months, probably not a good idea. Sounds like you're pretty active, though.
I bet a phone call to the doctor's office is all that you'll need to get a go-ahead.

Walking it will fine, just make sure you have plenty of water and maybe a snack as you go along, just to keep hydrated, and to make sure your blood sugar levels don't fall too low.
As for when you should give up running, I think that is a question for your midwife.

Its fine. They promote walking during pregnancy. Just remember to drink lots of water and maybe bring a few snaks for yourself too.
Trail mix is great and so are granola bars.

Running itself isn't bad, it's the danger of falling. Just walk it, I'm sure that will be fine.

as long as you walk and keep yourself well-hydrated...you should be fine. by well-hydrated...i mean drink TONS!!!! if you get tired, just a little bit, you need to stop walking...take a break. but you should be fine. i would be worried about the distance. but keep in mind walking encourages labor. and you`ll be short breath. take it at your own pace.
