I will be in a wedding on Saturday. I don't want to get fake nails because they are too high maitneance, and they make my nail really thin after i get them taken off. If i just need them for one day, would you suggest press-on nails that you get at Wal-Mart?

The glue that comes with those nails has actually improved alot over the last ten years. They are a good way to have nice nails for one day, and are easy to remove.

In my experience, not at all. They pop off almost immediately, especially if you try to do anything with them.

I get gel nails and they can easily stay on for over a month without popping off. They are very hardy and strong. They are not high maintenance at all.

For just one day though, I would just skip the nails and get a pretty manicure using what you already have.

Yeah , but get the ones you use the super glue for, they'll stay on longer and it's not hard to take off of your nail once your done with them. Some even have designs if your into that kinda of thing.

Press on nails are not the best option for beautiful nails. If you really want acrilic nails, I would go get them done at a nail salon. Press on nails are not only terrible for you natural nails( they ruin your nail beds) but they are not strong enough to stay on throughout your tipical day.

Press-on nails work fine for one day. Just put them on that same day and take them off at the end of your function.

I have tried press on nails. My experience was that they don't stay on and they hurt because every time you use your hands they are pulling on your real nails. If it is only for the day of your wedding, just get the acrylics, when they start to grow out just leave them unpainted so the outgrowth isn't so obvious, and keep them cut down until they grow out.

They work good all you have to do is use crazy glue because the glue that comes with it usually doesnt work that well and also you should take the glue with you the nails tend to fall off sometimes.

Just treat your real nails so they will grow, I dont know how much men actually like that stuff dont ever mention they are press on, its so 80s. I think you should use your real nails and polish them its sexier.

For one day, sure. Just use glue and glue-remover (not that gummy stuff some fake nails come with)

If you use glue remover, you wont affect the condition of your nails underneath.
