Maybe something for his room. If he is into Rock bands get him a CD and a giant poster.

If he is into PS2 etc. get him a gift cert for Game or Gamestation - they have stacks of preowned games for that value and a lot less.

Cinema tickets for him and a couple of mates.

Mobile phone credit is always useful at that age.

You've only got 25 quid but yet you posting in another question that you were looking for a 5 star resort for you and your 2 kids? Since those don't exist for children - why don't you take that extra money and spend 50 quid and get the kid a gift certificate!!!

Try 20Q. It's a hand held computer game that can guess what you're thinking of after you answer 20 questions. They have several different versions of the game. Original, sports, and music

I would guess by that you don't mean books. Get him started on a decent book series. I recommend the Artemis Fowl series or Eragon. He will really enjoy those books.
Try the website below for buying them.

Sounds like a spoiled brat. It's the thought that counts not how much and what! However, 25 GBP will buy a very nice gift: books (how about one on appreciation!); Savings Bond!; Abercrombie & Fitch/Gap/American Eagle tee shirt. Or just give him a card.

I've seen a wonderful kit that has a netting and that can be hung....the kid sends away for a bunch of chrysalises and watch them become butterflies, which are then released....

Check your local toy store, or go online. I've seen this where I live, in the US.

Take him to dinner, spend time with him. Buy an older video game if he's into that. There is always stuff they don't have.
