Actually I have this pain from time to time and I'm going into my fifth month. It's just normal stretching as the baby is growing and ur body adjusting to that growth.
Still ask your dr. but i'm pretty sure he will say it's normal during pregnancy

It is round ligament pain. Every pregnant woman goes through it at some degree. Your lower abdominal muscles are weakening (softening) in order to make the birthing process easier on your body. When I had it, my right side hurt worse, and my doctor said it was because the baby slowly turns in that direction.
Don't stress, it is a sign of a good pregnancy.
Congrats!

Sounds like what you're having is round ligament pain. Your body is getting geared up to expand, and not all parts of your body are going to be happy about it, especially if this is your first. Like someone else said, unless the pain is severe or frequent/constant and not related to coughing or stretching, I don't think it's any cause for concern. Your doctor can put your mind at ease, I'm sure.

I always had that too and was always told it was just the tendons and ligaments stretching and pulling. Ouch. I know it hurts and unfortunatly will get worse untill you hit about 6 months maybe even 7. Good luck and drink lots of water that seems to help a little.

I got the same thing when I was pregnant with my son. There's nothing to worry about. Yes, it seems to be your muscles around your stomach is starting to stretch a little and be a little sore to compensate for the baby

If it's just when you stretch out or cough you should be fine. If it's a constant nagging pain then I'd be worried. But what you're describing sounds pretty normal to me.

your body is going through a MAJOR change right now and now and again you are going to occasionally experience some aches and pains...if it gets to be to the point to where you attempt to stand up and feel that you need to sit because your not able to stand up straight then call your local er room..you should definitely bring this up to your ob/gyn because he can follow you throughout the next few months and make sure it is only a NORMALsymptom of pregnancy.....good luck with your upcoming little bundle of joy!

Its a very very normal thing that happens during pregnancy. I was having twins and had it severly on my right side but unless your bleeding and continually hurting there is nothing to be worried about.
