We as women have the blessing and gift to give life..that which is not possible for men...We have the gift of knowing what it is like to carry a human living being inside our bodies..for almost a year..!We women ..can set our minds..to anything ..we have set our minds ..and we have so far accomplished very much..we thought not possible for years...centuries..and so on...But we as women should also treasure the sensibility and the strength God has given us...to be able to give so much and expect so little , to be able to play two roles at once..like that of a single mother.. I do no think there has to be an "ideal" woman..we all have qualities and virtues...that make us unique and speacil...and may that be not only as someone stated to be a "babe"..what good is it...to have looks without no brain..or to make wrong decisiones all the time...TRue, we learn from failure at time...but a woman..can be all she wants to be !

A person. Womanhood is major part of who a woman is, but not everything she does is pinned to her womanhood. The types of relationships you listed require being a woman (mother, sister, wife, etc.), but other things that you do can be done by people, regardless of sex. Women should be as proud of their womanhood as they are of anything else about them, but they should also recognize that their sex doesn't put them in a different category than men for the other things they do (except perhaps things like playing major league football). Women should do what fulfills them and makes them happy as people.

A good role model. If I can't set an example for my daughters, I not only feel that I'm a bad mother, I'm a poor excuse for a woman. My kids should never feel the need to dress like a prostitute to get by but they should never feel ashamed to show a little skin, either. If I can make my children proud of me, I feel like I have served my purpose as a mother and done my job as a woman as well.

A woman should be a woman. Man and woman are undivisable unique sets of His creations. Both need to co-operate to develop a perfect harmony in around the globe. A man has to be a responsible man and perform his part, while a woman has to be a responsible woman and perform her part. If we could indentify ourselves as such unique integral part of the world and contribute accordingly, the world would be a heaven. But if we start comparing ourselves and finding our values in each others sets, soon you will find the whole world nagging.

For our families we should be the earth the sun and the moon. But for ourselves we should strive to be what ever our inner passions drive us to be. I decided to be a Marine reservist and a police officer because i wanted to protect and serve here in America and abroad. What a woman can and should be, should be hold an endless list of possiblities.

But first of all I think a woman should strive to be the Woman her Maker intends her to be.
