Oh my! I knew there were a lot, but not that many. Where did you get the statistics?

No, I didn't know that. When I was in 7th grade I walked home every day past a convenience store. One day when my friends and I went in to get some candy I stole a 5 cent little chocolate football. I had such overwhelming guilt that I went back in and put the little candy football back where I got it from. I never stole anything again since that day. I guess I just don't have what it takes.

Me neither but in honor of White Trash Wednesday I think I'll go get me a five finger discount at my favorite store Dollar General.

Well i didn't know that .. Did you know that it was classed as shoplifting if you open a can or any food item in the shop until you have paid for it ! <<<--- frustrates me when people do that

I don't either. When I go to a restraunt, I like to take those small potted plants in the middle of the table, a business card , a menu,etc. as souvenirs.
I guess you could call me a klepto.
