I teach French and have some small things (index card size) that need laminating for a lesson-- how can I laminate them without a machine? We do not have one!

Ideas? Thanks!

You should be able to find small lamination sheets in a craft or hobby store, dollar store, or department store. You simple stick the cards between the sheets. It works great. They are usually photo or baseball card size, so this sounds like it would work for you.

You can use that contact paper stuff, or perhaps the laminating sheets that you iron on from a craft store. But my favorite cheap way is to use clear, durable packing tape. It works just as well and you just need to make sure it has no air bubbles and then trim it around the edges. So cheap and very easy!

We always used clear contact paper. It was a little challenging to get it on with no air bubbles, but it works as well if not better than laminating. I used it on a small paper about 10 years ago and it is great condition! I highly recommend it.

Oh, dear... once-upon-a-time, I ironed a slighly-folded acetate 'EP' because it didn't look right. Hmmm... I pressed it flat alright. Destroyed it completely.

You HAVE to borrow a laminater. My point being that home remedies do not work.

So... where do you go from here? Shrink-wrap?
