I use a clinique one called "quickliner for eyes" and the colour is 07 Really Black. Its a twisty one so no need to sharpen it ever and it comes with a smudger on the other end if you want to make it into a more smokey look - really dark and stays put really well!

Try this water-proof Lancome mascara. Its a tad bit expensive but:
1. Its quality so its not going to mess up your eyes.
2. It's very very black
3. Its waterproof so you can cry and dance in the rain and it will stay put.

You could also check Sephora or department stores to see if you can get it cheaper.

Have you tried Avon? They make a really good liquid eyeliner that stays put for at least 12 hours (that's as long as I have had it on. They used to have a waterproof one too.

get black eyeshadow and a eyelining makup brush and dip the brush in water. Then put the damp brush onto the eyshadow to collect the color and line your eyes! it sounds like it won't "stay put" but it will.

i swear by my smashbox creme eyeliner. i use the black and it comes with a special brush,so that you can put it right between your lashes, not on your lid, it looks like i have twice as many lashes. after about 30 seconds it's set, and you have to use a good remover to get it off.

I find Revlon Colorstay good. I've tried plenty of eyeliners, and I find this one the best. Its self sharpening and it comes with a sharpener to make it pointed.

i do not positioned it on the waterline, bypass correct below the waterline. I oftentimes quit 3/4 way in so i do not do the corners. possibly attempt a distinct eyeliner, some thing stiffer.

To get the liner to stay put, draw it on the inner eyelid, not the outer skin.
