Ok, this is a long one. probably kinda stupid but i dont really know what i should do. Ok so, for a while now i had suspected my best friend at the time, of having an affair, her behaviour towards the idiot guy is just far too close to be just friends. I spoke to her about it as she has a husband and children, so i wanted to make her realise she had far to much to lose. We have been very distant friends since i asked her about an incident that i witnessed (which she denied) oh ps: me and the man shes just 'friends' with had a blazing arguement once so we dont speak. On the night of the arguement my friend didnt stick up for me once, it sucked. So anyway ive just heard they were caught kissing at our workplace and everybody knows except them. I hate what shes doing to her family but i know how she reacts when confronted, should i tell her what i know, or keep my nose out? Its so irritating watching them all over each other knowing she has a lovely family....help....

Its so sad to hear this. But you have to realize she's a grown woman and will end up doing what she wants. Dont get involved in this mess. What if she starts spreading rumors about you and gets you into trouble just to get you back for sticking your nose into her business. If you have spoken to her once, that should be enough... you have shown that you care, but she's not a little girl who you need to be watching all the time. Dont get yourself twisted into something so shameful. And dont feel bad for just stepping back... you have done your part.... its her turn - she needs to decide what it is that she really, really wants. You're a good friend.

In cases like this, I am afraid there's anything a third person can do. There's perhaps the possibility too that you don't really know the circumstance. Who can know everything behind doors of each family? Appearance of her happy family may be only that, appearance. If you are good enough friends with her you can talk to her about it again. If she still denies after been caught out, then at least you know for sure about one thing, she is a liar. You can't actually interfere with other people's action though. Keep out of it now at least, until maybe you are needed to help in some way.

Well it sounds like she is def cheating, and she obviously cant see what a great family she has?!! Or she is unhappy or she wouldn't be doing it? Either way I think the best thing to do is leave it be, if you get involved the people involved will probably resent you... Cheats always get found eventually, let them do it there selves!

Leave it your better off out of it, what will you do when her husband finds out and comes to you asking questions cos that's what will happen at least if your not friends he cant have a go at you

i think you should keep it a secret from her family but tell her the consequenses what would happen if her family found out, but most importantly her husband.
tell her:
"If your husband caught u kissing that guy he would abandon you and if your boyfriend knew u were married and still dating him he would hate you too. and think about your children, how would they learn manners if they see their parents fighting"

That sucks. She is obviously a liar. Her husband and children don't deserve her. I would say something to her. Before she hurts anyone else.

well i think you should still keep talking to her. just make sure you dont "butt in" too much because it IS her family but just be there for her family when they find out

I think that you should not bother yourself with it. It's her life and what goes around comes around.Eventually she will get caught.

you should tell it to her face and threaten to tell her family (snd you should actually do it if she doesn't listen. She can't hurt people like that! =(
