This is true with most people. I try and make a point to listen to everyones advice and take what I can and use it. I think alot about something though before I do it. I may not always use 100% of someone else's advice but I take it into consideration.
I have a friend that's going through some stuff that her family and I have been trying to help her with. I'm remaining neutral, pointing out the PROS and CONS, but supporting her no matter what whereas her family is fairly one-sided on the topic. Deep down I'm a little concerned with her decisions, but I guess she's got to do what makes her happy.

Maybe people need to stop giving advice when we want to talk..most of the time we are not looking for advice we are just looking to vent for five mintues so we can go back to our life and take care of business..sorta of like a stress releif..maybe its not those who are talkings problem..maybe people just don't know how to listen with their ears open and their mouth shut

omg yes! my husband, who's opinion and advice are very important to me, keeps telling me to ignore the crazy person but it's soooo hard sometimes. I like revenge! I love retaliation! I'm such a child....hehehe. I know he's right tho so I've been very good.....kinda =)

yea, I learned that the hard way and I had to tell the person who gave me the nice sweet true advice.. "I am a stupid person, you were right and i was wrong". It sucked admitting the truth.

Yeah. I noticed that the hard way. Hind-sight is always 20/20.

Yes, that's the whole point of Yahoo reporters, to disagreee with someone and report it as wrong or rude if they don't like our OPINION.

Nobody likes to hear the truth especially if what you are doing or who you are doing feels really good.

Yes, I have. And then years later we look back and think, "oh shoot... I should've listened to that."
