I have Windows 2000, and did a Windows update which I was told that would install a patch to allow my computer to adjust for the new Daylight Savings Time Change. Well.... it didn't. So, I went in manually to change the time. Sounds simple, right? But the time will change only for a little while, sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes an hour, etc.., then change back to the old time. (which is an hour earlier)
We are on a network, that share 3 computers, and we all have the same problem. HOWEVER, the network server, does have the correct time it should be. HELP!!!

If you are having this problem at work, it is possible you have what is called a "time server", where your computer updates its time from a central server.

The time server is seperate from the network server. The following Microsoft Knowledgebase article discusses how that is set up.

I recommend that, if you are unsure about central time servers, that you get your computer support person to fix the problem. Otherwise, do a lot of research on them online before getting into trying to fix it.

You need to change the time from an administrator account.
That simple!

Are you in the right time zone? That usually does it!
