Please help. I have started running but I need some running shoes. What are the best kind.

Oh!! I just found this out. It depends on how much you pronate when you run. Can i suggest going to coolrunning.com. Also check out running stores in your area. Make sure the shoes give enough arch support and allow your feet to breathe. I just bought a pair of Saucony's and I love them! But you really should go to a running store. The good ones will have a treadmill in the store and ask you to do a sample run.

My husband and I both love Asics. They're a great fit for our feet. Go to your nearest fitting specialist and see what best suits you. Everyone has different needs when it comes to footwear. Asics in my opinion make a great running shoe (both track and cross trainer).

Asics, nike, new balance, saucony. Go try on diferent pairs of different kinds. new balance is good cause they have different widths. The rest will depend on your foot and specific models. I find nike is avery narrow fit which is great for me.

For beginning, go with whatever feels comfortable for you. Try to go with a quality name brand, kinda spendy, but definitely worth it. Consider width, arch, and weight of the shoe.
