Man everyone used to terrorize those poor subs... except me ofcourse lol :D

OMG YES! I used to bark and moo at her. I went into her desk one time and snapped all her pencils in half (she has her own office.) In her office was also a toilet, and one time I took almost a whole roll of toilet paper and put it in the toilet and let it sit in there. Then when she first started she asked me my name and I told her my name was Ive DeRuns, lol. She would sit in front of me sometimes and I would break up erasers and throw them in her afro she had. She was mean though so she deserved it. I used to get a detention almost everytime she substituted us.

My maiden name is Thomas.
For some reason, my high school English teacher had written my name as Jennifer Thomas in the grade book, but written everyone else's names last name first. I suspect it was because there was a Jennifer Thoreson in our class and writing one of us reversed it was easier to keep from giving me her grade and vice versa.
The substitute was going through roll call using the grade book and kept calling "Thomas." I kept saying "there's no Thomas in this class. That's ME." and she's like "Oh hush who would name a girl Thomas."
It took all hour for us to convince her that there WAS no Thomas.

I was a sub ! I wanted to wear a shirt with a target on it they wouldn't let me ! I have an unusual last name too and that made it even more fun.

I am ashamed to say that upon occasion I was less than the perfect young gentleman. I have actually gone and tried to make amends to some of the people I was mean to.
Some of them didn't even remember what I was talking about, but I was mortified to look back at how stupid I was at times.

It was a given that you do that! Even I, a mild mannered, shy nobody used to join in. Calling out "here" to the wrong names. Trying to convince her we'd "already convered that". Throwing spit balls. Passing notes. Having to use the bathroom-a lot. Just general acting up.

Usually not because the rest of the class was bad enough..... unless the Sub got on my case, then it was war.

Oh a great big YES on that.....don't you remember how the news we are having a sub today would get around......then you start planning how to "get" them !!!!!!
