I was on the pill for 18 years without any breaks. It took me 6 months to get pregnant. It took me a few months to figure out how "regular" I was. Now I am 11 weeks pregnant with my first.

Actually - I was on the "pill" for 12 years (from when I was 14- 26)... I got off the pill a few years ago, and went to the Marina (IUD) which stopped my period's altogether... I had that taken out in January and the very next cycle (February Cycle) my husband and I conceived. We are now about 7 weeks pregnant.
We were not trying, either!
I am sure that you will be fine - remember 25% of couples who are TRYING TO CONCEIVE will get pregnant in the first month. That number gradually increases through the first year.
I don't think that your pill use should effect your chances of conceiving!
Good Luck!!!

I'm sure you will concieve eventually...I have only taken the pill for about a year straight and with my first pregnancy I became pregnant after 2 years....on the flip side my cousin was on the pill for about as long as you have been and has been trying for many many years to get pregnant and without success. I would say it depends on your body.

Hi there! I was on birth control for 7 years, and got off in November. I now going on 5 months and nothing yet. I just recently went to the gyno and he told me I usually takes about 6 months for it to get out of your system. Some woman are lucky and get pregnant right away, but most don't. It will take the average healthy woman up to a year. After a year, you should go get tested. Good luck...and baby dust your way!!

I've actually heard that the time when you come off the pill is the time that you are most likely to conceive. This happened to me...I was on the pill for about 4 years, then got pregnant the month I stopped taking it. I think everyone's different. I would discuss this with your gynecologist.

it can take some time after being on the pill so long but just give it time even if you never took the pill there is a small percentage that you would get pregnant the first month you try

ok, stick the canines decrease than your arm, open her mouth and stick the pill down. carry her mouth closed and blow a gasp of air into her nostril. she would be able to swallow. Or, get "pill wallet" on the close by puppy save. they are staggering and no canines i've got had can stand up to them. The pill can't be pulled out of the food and the "pocket" is irresistable to canines! next, staple removal isn't painful.
