I've heard there have been 3 Undertakers. I'd like to know who the 1st and possibly 2nd one was. I know that Mark Calloway has been the last one for at least 15 years now.

The first and original Undertaker was Mark Calaway who has continued to play that character up to the present day. The WWE originally experimented on the name "Kane The Undertaker" before dropping the Kane part until they would re-use it again some years later with Glen Jacobs.

In 1994 a fake undertaker played by Calaway's best friend Brian Lee was a part of the WWF for a few months. Both the fake and real undertaker's did battle at Summerslam that year with the real undertaker winning and the fake undertaker never to be seen again.

Brian Lee would appear a few years later as Chainz in the WWF

About 5 months after the Undertaker "died" at Royal Rumble Ted Dibiase began claiming on WWF television that he had the Undertaker. Paul Bearer came out weeks later and said he had the Undertaker and that Dibiase that lying. A match was signed for Summerslam 1994 for the two Undertakers to fight each other to see how actually had the real one.

Paul Bearer had the real Undertaker of course and Ted Dibiase just had Brian Lee dressed as the Undertaker. Undertaker beat Brian Lee at Summerslam with three tombstones and the Fake Undertaker was never seen and barely talked about on WWF television again.

So there have been 2.

Mark Callaway is the real one.

The original Undertaker, modeled after the late 1800's style Undertakers of the old west, exploded onto the scene at 11/22/90 Survivor Series. He made a strong showing, against the American Dream, Bret Hart, and Tombstoned Koko B Ware out of the match. He charged through the year as an evil force that fans had an attraction to. At his first Wrestlemania (WM7), he fought and defeated Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, the Phenom of his time, and earned the title of the Phenom. He then won his first WWF world title reign from Hulk Hogan at Survivor Series 1991, 1 year after his debut.

The Undertaker continued to awe wrestling fans with his power, agility and athletic ability through the years; and through feuds with Gonzalez, Kamala, and others, ending with a fued with Yokozuna(RIP) at the 1994 Royal Rumble, where it took 10 huge men to put the Undertaker in his own casket. After that, the Undertaker disappeared for a few months, and a faker returned to take his place. At SummerSlam 1994, the real Undertaker returned with Paul Bearer as-

As far as I know, The Undertaker has been the same guy every time. However, he has had different costumes. The first costume was a black shirt with purple tie and a big black hat. The second time, he went goth with the black robe, hair over his face, whole nine yards. This was back when he and his "brother", Kane were fighting. The last and to my knowledge final Undertaker was when he dressed as a biker. It has been the same guy each time, with mainly changes to costume and facial hair. It's hard to tell because most of the time, his face was mostly concealed, but it has been the same guy.
