Join Myspace, then join a group for your local city, then start a forum in it that asks who wants to join a dance team, see what you get.

Before you start; there is a few steps you need to take.

1.] Do you have an area large enough to hold several people, with good flooring for dancing? If not, do you know someone who does? Or do you have the money to rent someplace?

2.] Do you know how to explain your moves to alot of people? I know people who can think of dances easily, but when it comes to teaching people they don't know how to explain anything. You need to practice teaching people; or write down your moves as they come to you.

3.] Are you going to charge people money? I personally suggest you don't. Most people aren't willing to pay money to a person who isn't a proffesional.

4.] Do you have money for flyers/materials/etc? You will probably need to advertise your group.

5.] What is the purpose of your group? Is it purely recreational, just like a normal dance class, or are you planning on going to competetions and performing at shows?

i hope this helps!!!

It depends, is it a school dance team or a local city dance team?
