Yes, it is the same as 'Oh my stars, Oh my word, Oh my God, Oh my goodness' - it is an immediate response of surprise to an event or situation you found out of the normality of your own condition.

'Oh my days' is a HUGE improvement on 'Oh my God' which up until recently was spreading everywhere like the measles at bushfire speed!!! The OMG supposedly 'witty' version is equally offensive to many, many people to whom God's name is still precious in a world which increasingly appears to hold God and His name in contempt.

Oh if I ever saw you I would give you some money and I would also tell you about the Lord Jesus Christ. He had nowhere to lay His head and had to go from house to house having meals. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

Oh my God is considered blasphemy and some people don't like doing that. So they substitute the word "God" with "days".
I think it's quite sweet - my daughter does it.

Well, if you hear this expression all the time, tell me where - I've never heard it in all my life - and that's a long long time ! ! !
Are you sure you don't mean "IN my days" meaning "a long time ago"?
