or does anyone else get a bit sad when they realize that John Ritter is no longer with us? I remember watching Threes Company when I was younger and seeing him in various crap movies. I think he was under rated as an actor! Rest in peace JR!

When I say sad, i dont mean i sit and bloody cry about it, I just feel that people should be appreciated for their contribution to acting adn making people laugh was all. People are far too critical of a simple question.

i know what you mean, I do think John Ritter was an underrated actor (sometimes comedic actors dont get the recognition they deserve because its not "serious acting", blah blah, whatever) But i was flipping through channels the other day and the Crocodile Hunter was on, Steve Irwin was on, and for some reason I got really sad and I had to turn it off........I didnt EVER think that I would actually get sad over a celebtiry, someone I didnt even know because they passed away.

Its funny that you asked this because my husband and I were watching Bad Santa the other night and he looked at me and said "didnt John Ritter die?" I told him, yes he did. This was his last movie. I really loved watching him act. Some people did not like 8 Simple Rules but I thought he did a great job. Three's Company always made me laugh as well. I agree when you say he was under rated as an actor.

Wow, that's crazy, I actually had a dream last night with the whole Three Company crew. But anyway, I had a crush on John Ritter when i was growing up, because of him I find humor attractive in men. I agree, he was totally under rated!

You're not alone, he was institution that never really got the recognition that he deserved. He was lovable and funny and not someone you would think would have tradgedy strike.

I am with ya! I was thinking of buying 8 simple rules but then got depressed. Anytime I watch anything he was in I am reminded how much of a great actor he was and how we all miss him.

I remember him and I loved watching Threes Company, but didn't he die because of a drug overdose or something that he caused himself? I'm not completely sure of this though!
