Robin,

Sounds like using a pressure washer will be your best bet. A residential washer should work just fine - anything you could buy at the Home Improvement Giants.

As a professional pressure washer, I would treat the stain first with Simple Green (Home Depot $9.99 or your neighbor has some) and agitate the stain with a hard bristle brush. Let it sit for about 10 minutes before using the pressure washer, and the stain should peel off like warm butter.

If for some reason that doesn't lift the stain, you may want to use a mixture of bleach and water (1 part bleach to 3 parts water) and treat the stain again. Follow the same steps.

If that doesn't do it, you may want to hire someone with a commercial pressure washer (more power). Most contractors will insist on charging a minimum of one hour's work (roughly $60), so it would be a good idea to fill their time with other items (sidewalk, driveway, curbs, patio, whatever, etc.)

Honestly, I can't see that as a real option for just a wine stain, but if Mother Theresa is coming over to your house next week, maybe. Good luck and feel free to contact me for further info.

don't worry it will be out tomorrow morning when you wake up.
Little gnomes will be there tonight to feast and lick all the wine out of the concrete. then they will go to your room and shave all the hair off your husbands butt because they use it as a form of currency. but if they don't come then they are busy playing james the deep sea zebra on 4ugames.net. so then you should go to the Home Depot and buy "saws all" and a bag of concrete and cut out and replace the spot

Oxalic acid. Be very careful when using it, apply it and leave it on the stain overnight. Repeat until the stain is gone.

I used dawn dish soap and some outdoor bleach. Took the stain right up.
