I already have K-Rod...but I need another closer...I have Papelbon but he is going to be starting this year:

Which of the following do you think I should trade for:

Mariano Rivera - will get a ton of Save opps, but is he too old?
Trevor Hoffman - will get a an ok amy opps, but is he too old?
Huston Street - youngest, but will he get enough Save opps

go with Mariano, his arm is not fading as fast as his hairline.
He has been an injury risk for 2 years but Torre is so in tuned with Mariano that he probably wouldn't get pushed to the injury point. And Mariano wants to play next year so he needs to be healthy all year and will protect himself. He is the most solid of all three.

Go with Rivera - he's the sure bet to get a ton of saves on a great team... Hoffman plays for a team that is not that good and Street has some injury problems and blows saves too much.

Rivera is Mr Closer. He has been the best closer in the past how many seasons. Go for him.

Hoffman is your second best choice. He is only a couple more years from being retired and he has taken a lot off.

Street is very young. I think he is going to have a fantastic season but.... He also has been bitten a couple of times by the injury bug.

Go with Rivera if you can get him

I go with Hoffman, I think thier starting pitching will give him plenty of oppertunities and looking at the rest of thier relief staff I dont see anyone else I would trust with bulk of my save opps. My worries about Rivera is his age and wtht the talent that the Yankees always have, are the games going to be close enough to get many save aoppertunities. I must admit Im not to knowledgable about Street, but I always take Hoff over him when I draft.

Rivera. He will get many more opportunities to save games than the others.
