Lost a baby and wasnt able to give her a funeral. Was 19 weeks
That bothers me. So I thought I would write a poem and have printed on little cards and find a pretty little picture. And send it to loved ones. Letting them know she did pass away but wanted to rember her life.
Does this seem tacky? I will find a pretty picture like alittle girl hugging a lamb or something pretty. I have written her a poem.
At the bottom of the card it will say we didnt know the reason she left but wanted to rember her.

I wanted to add her name was Star O'conner. it was difficult for me to name her because it hurt to much. My other three children are Kaplin, simplicity, and Patience. And one day it came to me. She was our little star that decided to stay in heaven. Her light stil shines.

I thought that someone on the card i might let her siblings do some art work. so we can feel her life was forgotten.

Absolutely not tacky! In fact, it is a great idea to cherish her and remember her. She was a part of your life for 19 weeks and deserves to be honored and remembered. I am so sorry for your loss.
Prayers are with you as you work through this time of grief and hope you find the closure you need.

Tacky??!! Not in the least. If it happened to me I would actually have a little wake. The reason is that it was with you and part of your life and it brought some life changing moments to you. So that is what I would do. It will also allow you to move on now that you would be able to put that part 'behind' you. Cheers

Its a great idea. Just try to make more irrelevant of time and space. So that people even after generations can remember and can relate to this.
