At least some asked whether you meant Cleveland in UK or Ohio. As usual the Americans have only ever heard of Cleveland Ohio (they don't generally know anywhere outside of the USA). But there is also a Cleveland that is a suburb of Brisbane (which for the benefit of any Americans that might be reading this, is in Australia, which is a big island in the Pacific). However, short of looking at on-line travel, nightlife guides, I'm afraid I don't have any info, apart from the fact that it an heritage area. However, it's very close to Brisbane and there's a lot of bars, restaurants and clubs there.

If you're talking about the Cleveland in Ohio - the Flats apparently has been renovated and the place to go (bars, nightclubs, that sort of thing). I've never personally been to the Flats...but have been to several bars around the Jake (Jacobs Field -Cleveland Indians), spent New Years Eve at a place called the Spy Bar in the Warehouse District one year. There's a House of Blues somewhere in Cleveland as well as a Hard Rock Cafe. There's also the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame which occasionally has concerts. Depending on what time of year you go - there's baseball, basketball, football. Plenty to do, really.

Are you talking about Cleveland, Brisbane?
Not a lot!! It's a pretty quiet suburb. Really pretty though. Lots of money around there!
There is a great old pub though. Can't remember what it is called, but it's one of the oldest pubs in Queensland. It's a good place to go and watch sport. It's out towards the Point on Shore St North
Apart from that, there are a few places to go for dinner and a bar or two. Same sort of stuff you get everywhere.

Cleveland's a fairly quiet sort of suburb of brisbane. I think it is an older population that live there, so it's not Brisbane's nightlife capital.
There are quite a few restuarants and places to eat, but I'm not sure that there's much in the way of nightclubs, etc.

It depends on what you're comparing it to and what you would consider nightlife. The biggest spot for clubs and bars is W6th street, but after 2-3 visits, you will probably get tired of it. It is a lot better during the summer, with a lot of places having open patios. Check out http://cleveland.about.com/od/restaurantsandnightspots/Restaurants_and_Nightspots.htm for a more complete list.
