How do we concieve a boy?

My husband and I have 2 girls (7 & 8 Yrs old) and are seriously considering having another child. We would like to try for a boy. Are there any suggestions, positions, books, web-sites anyone would recommend to me?

You can increase your chance of a male baby by conceiving RIGHT on your ovulation day. The ph of the uterus is most favorable then. This is not a guarantee, but a definitely heightened chance of a male embryo conception. Count 14 days after the first day of your period and that's the likely ovulation day. A bettr way to determine ovulation is that mid cycle (2 weeks from first day of last period) there's a slippery discharge indicating ovulation. That's your night (or day).
Please please keep in mind that once the baby is born and if the baby is a girl, that you don't even think twice about something so trivial as the gender of the baby again.

well naturally it is a 50/50 chance, the only other way to guarantee a boy is gender selection to where they separate the x and y sperm to conceive a boy and this is pretty costly, if you want another baby just be happy with what God gives you if you want only a boy then get a male dog. if you had to go through what I have went through and so many other people that took years I mean YEARS to conceive a baby you would be down on your knees thanking God for the blessings you have already, I'm sorry I am not picking one you in general, I am complaining about all the people out there that take having a baby for granted because it came so easy it is as they are so disposable I guess that old saying the harder you work for something the more you appreciate it.

I've heard doggy style helps so the little guys get directly up there if you know what I mean. I'm 26 weeks with a boy and when my hubby and I were trying we repeated that position. I also know the exact time we concieved our first son and we had done it in that position as well. My 2 girls were not concieved in that position.

Boy sperm has proven to be faster yet they die easier, where as girl sperm are slower and hardier-have sex right on the day of ovulation and you have a better chance to have a boy. also some of the pregnancy sites have gender calculators, you can google those and look around. but there isnt a sure fire way to get it figured out yet.

Although you can't garuntee anything 100% you can try using http://www.fertilitygal.com/Get-Your-Free-Online-Ovulation-Calendar.htm to track your fertile days. On the calander the mark the reccomended days for having sex so you can try to increase you chances of having the boy you want. I hope this helps you out. :)
