Playing in the yard with your friends on a beautiful spring day.
Pretending
My mothers soft touch to make things quit hurting.
Sunday dinners.
Christmas morning
The smell of a REAL drugstore soda fountain.
Allowances
Dating
Puppy love
Thunder storms
Recess
My dog
pea shooters
1st bicycle
Kick the can
Sneaking into drive-in movies in the trunk.
Stealing watermelons from the patch.
Last day of school
Sneaking a drink of my dads beer.
Walking down the shaded country lane on our farm.
Hamburgers on Saturday night.
Feather beds
Buying a dollars worth of gasoline.
I miss not having the brains to realize those were the best days of my life.

Taking a leisure walk...finding a favorite big tree . . . climbing that tree out the the furthest big branch and just sitting there gazing out....daydreaming.
I still love to take walks...I still find a place to sit...gaze out at people or the scenery...daydream at times . . . yet haven't climbed a tree in a long while. Last time I climbed a tree was about 6 years ago. It's feel very freeing to me to be up in a tree, high above the ground and gazing out.
I guess for the time being I'll have to keep my relaxing gazing and daydreaming to ground level.
Yet . . . you asked ' why ' and I'm thinking why not ? I'm going to go find a tree to climb by months end . . . Just because . . . Why not. :~).

I miss the innocence of everything. Being oblivious to everything except playing, your friends, your toys etc...
Summer when I was a child was being outside all day, riding your bike, swiming, playing with friends, going inside just for lunch & then being outside till the streetlights came on & you had to go in then. Catching fireflys at night. Ok - I feel old now! LOL

Not having any responsibilities such as bills and having to go to work. I also miss playing with friends.
