Hi there. My goddaughter turns 1 years old at the end of this month, and I need help in choosing a present for her. I got her a toy for christmas , but I would like something with a bit more thought this time. Im a guy ,I am no good at this thing :)

HI, at one the baby will not really be too aware of her birthday and who gets them what etc, so maybe something the mum need such as clothes (babies grow so quick ) or toys ? There are some lovely plate sets, such as Disney, Beatrix Potter etc or jewellery for babies to keep, little silver baby braclets are lovely.

What about a child's book of fun prayers. My sons godmother got this for my son when he was a year old and it was a lovely gift.
the prayer book was fun written prayers that were suitable for most religions. Do a web search on Amazon or eBay and you may find the ideal book. You could also get a nice fun book marker with child's name on.

When I was a baby my godfather bought me a little gold bracelet with a bluebird & my name engraved on the plate. This was 25 years ago & I still have it & will always treasure it.

If the parents don't already have one, get her one of those baby books that you can record her progress and special things she does. In her later years, they are priceless.

i'm also a guy but that doesn't stop anything.
Get har a princess/ fairy dress with wings and a wand and evrything, i bought my baby sister this and she loved it! the only thing that's stoping her from using it is that it's too small! :)

you can get some lovely jewelry for little girls,, but go to a nice jewellers, not Argos lol.. i would go with a bracelet. i bought one for my little girl on her 1st birthday, it was silver with with little pink hearts on it,, so cute and I'm sure she will always keep it.. i still have my bracelets from when i was little.
