Any answer from current/former Boeing employees is appreciated:
I'm trying to apply for some openings at Boeing, job titles are Project Engineer/System Engineer/Test Engineer and I notice that there are levels from 1 (entry) thru 5 (highly experienced).
I was wondering what is the pay range for level 1, 2 and 3? I know it depends on many things but I'm just looking for may be a pay range for each level.

Go to Speea.org or .com website OR email SPEEA - there are pay curves - IE family of curves of pay percentiles based on engineering specialty. In general - military programs pay very well & new airplane programs pay very well ( such as getting job on 787 program - they pay well b/c it is seen as being a team player etc. etc. - oh yea - they work your bippie right off - so you will make 6 figures in over time ! ). By engineering specialty - in an aerospace company 1) Aerodynamiscists make great money followed by 2) flight controls engineer followed by 3) Structures ( STRESS ) Engineers ( there is a worldwide shortage of Structures engineers right now & the supply and demand equation is out of wack - driving up there salaries ). Electrical Engineers w/experiance are very highly paid - RF/RADAR - SATELLITE ENGINEERS ARE PROBABLY THE HIGHEST PAID out of the box - but are limited to military type programs. Multiple degrees pushes all these pay scales higher 9 IE Phd, masters, MBA). Boeing is paying ALL displinces very well - because the company is rockin right now - they have many exciting things going on - its a great company. You can travel the world quite easily in any position. SPEEA will give youthe goods - they are always looking for new members ......:) Good luck
