Yes he did. I guess he couldn't admit it to himself until he looked at her. That's my guess.
This show seems to be about coming to terms with your demons so it seems.
I think he knew the husband would kill him. So did the wife know (she said she would tell the husband she was mistaken) and I think all she really wanted was to confront him, and to forgive him...for her OWN sake.
The cat was a nice touch to the point.

It was a bit weird wasn't it - he seemed so adamant that he didn't know her at first. I reckon he did actually do it though and was just lying (though it wasn't explained out like that very well).
Remember his reaction when he first saw her (he later says that he couldn't forget that face) and later throughout the episode it kind of referenced her (with the cat) like the flashbacks do, so yes I reckon he did it.

Yeah. You see him forced to do it in an earlier episode which explores his past. You don't see the actual torture, just him getting the ultimatum

Yes he did, but he tried to forget about it ever since he left Iraq. He denied it initially for the sake of not getting murdered or trying to block it from his memory...

Yes I think he did. That was a good episode! That Russian guy was scary...but the cat was soo cute! :)

Ahhhh, well, that's the question, isn't it? I think we weren't told whether he did or not just because it's another mystery to be solved. This is Lost, after all! (In other words, I haven't the foggiest idea!)
