I'm 5 Weeks and 2 days today.
I did gain a little weight (just from eating lots)
but now I went down a little bit again. (weired)
My Belly started to show too, but I figured it was just because I ate so much more then usually, and lots of gas!!!
But everybody is different, so don't be worried!
If you wanna chat just give me an email.

Women show at different times during their pregnancies. If you are a small framed woman and are thin, you will most likely show "earlier" than expected. Also, if it's your second or third pregnancy, you should show earlier. Keep eating healthy. Don't worry about weight gain too much. You are supposed to gain weight during pregnancy. If you are concerned, make sure to bring it up to your doctor when you have your first visit. Also, the tightening and stretching is your body growing to accommodate the pregnancy. This will also happen at various times during your pregnancy. Just enjoy it and know that things are working right. Listen to your body and call the doctor's office if you get really concerned about something. But, I'd also suggest popping on to one of the great Web sites like babycenter to see how the baby grows and how your body changes. It may calm some of your fears. Congratulations and Good Luck!

At 5 weeks your uterus would still be well down in the pelvis, being kept cosy and safe while your baby is going through a very critical stage of development. Your baby is only about the size of a short grain of rice, and your uterus itself will have only just started to grow.
The uterus usually reaches the pubic bone at about week 12 - depending on your build, you should be able to feel it just peeping up above the bone about this time. A non pregnant uterus is about the size of a small pear - at about 12 weeks it is the size of asmall grapefruit. After this, your uterus will grow upward, reaching your belly button around week 20.
Substantial changes to your lower abdomen before about 14 weeks aren't due to the expanding uterus so much as the various gastrointestinal changes you are going through. Abdominal bloating or distention is absolutely normal. A lot of pregnant women experience mild to seriously uncomfortable constipation in the early months - keep yourself well hydrated.

Yeah at first I saw changes immediatly. Don't worry it'll kinda go fast at fist then slow down and then pick up a bit in your last ten weeks. It's normal and I only gained 25 lbs in my pregnancy. I freaked at first too thinking I was going to turn into a blimp.

Everyones body is different. I ate normal, and gained a lot of weight the first time around. Second time I didn't think I'd ever start showing. First baby was 10lbs.4oz and second was 7lbs. 9.6 oz. They are both boys, so it wasn't a difference in gender even.

Bloating.
It's just bloating.
You'll get a lot more bloat before you get baby bump. In fact, you'll probably think you are showing, and then the next week you look smaller because you're bloating has gone down.
It's normal.

Hm. If you're really worried, you should speak to your doctor. I know that I didn't start showing until I was about 6 months. So, maybe consult your doctor. Another possibility...is that you're not only having one?

depends on how you carry the baby, if it all out front you will show soon. if you carry in your back you may be 6 months before you get a pooch
