does anyone know where i can find plans for an engine stand and other metal projects. doesnt matter if it is sheet metal or thick stuff aluminum or steel.

Just buy an engine stand. It is not worth your safety. Engine stands are under 50$. Pick a different project.

You can buy an engine stand at AutoZone or Harbor Freight for less than the materials cost of building your own.

go with the other answer, the time it would take to make one you could have drove and got one in way less time. plus I wouldnt trust a homeade one anyway.
