I mean coz till now, the show, "Ugly Betty", she haven become slim and beautiful yet, and not when at her usual life as "America Ferrera" the usual her. Coz like Anne Hathaway when in The Devil Wears Prada, she will become beautiful as she was being ugly all the time. If not, haiz, I will be very sad bout it...

I just read an interview this past weekend about this topic, and they (producers) said they will not make Betty "pretty" (as in the way most people define pretty). She will remain true to herself with her own sense of style.

In the Original Latino Series Betty La Fea, Betty indeed became beautiful... Its really up to the producers of the American version if they wanted to take the same road.

In the original version in Spanish, Betty became beautiful at the end. She became beautiful to match her inside. In the original she does not change the people around her but just one person. There are various countries that have done different things with this Soap. For example in Mexico, she changes everyone around her, meaning the way they see people is change. They learn that Beauty is not skin deep.

The point is she IS BEAUTIFUL - she is amazing, intelligent and charming. Just because she doesn't meet a perceived beauty type she should not be discounted. The show isn't about Betty changing Betty it is about Betty changing the people around her.

That would ruin the show. The show is great because she is NOT like all those shallow people she works with all day. As for me I hate skinny women. I think America is super super extra super hot!!!!
