is going too slow or taking the long way, and the meter is ticking away...fast!!!

Yes, especially when it's a trip I've taken before, like from the grocery store, and know about how much it should be. I just use any amount they would have gotten for tip to pay the difference. Dissatisfied with the ride, no tip.

No I watch the meter like crazy. We only really take the cabs when we go out drinking or to a concert but they are so slow. However their was this one cab who wouldn't turn the AC on (and I live in TEXAS) we where burning up and he almost hit 2 cars, we where riding with someone else and they stopped him got out and said they where going to get another cab. We made it home safe though... =))

i always hate paying too much for a cab. once the fare goes above $30 i start to panic.
