No it's not too early to see a doctor if you are 3 days late, and genuinely trying to be pregnant.
Ask for a beta hCG blood test, they are more accurate than urine tests.
The worst thing that could happen is a negative result - you are not being too jumpy at this point.
Good luck.

They won't theink your wasting their time but they more than likely will tell you to wait until your 1 week late and re-test then (or they will) if you still get a negative result but no period then they can offer you a blood test which is more sensitive & accurate at detecting pregnancy. Unfortunately many women have the problem of a neg result but are pregnant, it is simply because they are not producing enough of the pregnancy hormone to show up on the test. If you have no period after a week go to the doctor. In the mean time if you want to retest yourself, use first urine of the day (and after 4 hours continual sleep) and use one of the more sensitive test brands which are clear blue or first response. Good luck, I hope you get the result your hoping for! x

Don't forget last month was a short month so you have to count the days (28) from your last day of your last period. Is it unusual or usual to be a few days late? The test you are using may not tell right away until your body has built up enough of the hormone that is used to determine a test being positive and if there is not enough it will test negative. When buy a test read the back to determine the time frame that it is effective. Hope this helps and good luck.

Wait a week and do another test (try a different brand this time). I know from experience that if you stress out about getting pregnant it will interrupt your natural cycle. I was trying for 3 years then I tried using a digital ovulation test (you pee on a stick every day from day 6 of your cycle) and I got pregnant 1st go!! I'm now 24 weeks and soooooo happy.

Well there is still hope on the positive side it may have been too early to test, and you can miss a period due to hormones or any cold or flu. just hang in there what is a few more days and re-test. I know how you feel but it took me 20 years to get pregnant. believe me over those years I had many ups and downs and I know how you are feeling right now.

I would wait 4 more days untill you are a week late, take another test and then go to the doctor.
There might not be enough HCG in your body for the test to pick up, or maybe your period will come late.

Stress is a major cause of missing your period. Another is some medications. Relax and don't worry too much.
Consult your doctor if it is more than a week. Don't worry about it God is in control!
