What attracts so many people to yahoo answers and questions? It it the communicaton or learning experience?

I would say I'm pretty new to this and what attracts me to it is that I get to hear (see) other people's opinions. You see what diversity there is out there and how differently people think (thankfully). Maybe help someone out that was too afraid to ask a question but saw the answer in someone else's question. Or even be enlightened about a something that you didn't know.
